Dr Karen Portas: Major Trauma networks in the UK: what’s new?

Karen has been leading the Northern Trauma Network for over 9 years. She chairs the National Major Trauma Network Managers, sits on NHS England Clinical Reference Group for Major Trauma and Burns and was a key member of the COVID task group for Major Trauma during the pandemic. Karen enjoys cycling, and skiing (of course!) for fun and is mum to a 9 year old son.
